Get unlimited access to available Detroit Newspapers in Education (DNIE) programs through this customer portal. This includes the ability to place new orders, modify existing orders or customer profiles, or view billing information.
DNIE is only available for Michigan classroom settings accredited by the state or federal government. Participating students must be receiving credits or working towards degree or certification. This includes Grades K-12 classrooms, G.E.D. programs and College/University Classrooms. Home Schools that are part of an accredited association may receive e-Edition delivery but print deliveries can only be made to a public or non-public school building.
If you requested classroom delivery of either the Detroit Free Press or The Detroit News during the 2006-2007 school year or in subsequent years, and supplied your email address when you ordered, you already have an active account and should sign in as a REGISTERED USER. If you do not know your password or forgot your password, click on Forgot Your password and your password will be emailed to you. If you have not requested delivery since the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year, please use the CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT option.Still not sure? Send an e-mail to dnie@dnps.com or call 800-678-0789. To order a new program you must first click on the Programs button! Once you create an account or sign in to an existing account on this page, you MUST click on the PROGRAMS button - found in the blue bar above - to view a list of current Detroit News or Detroit Free Press programs. Click the >>Order Now<< button found at the end of your selected program. You'll then be asked to tell us how you heard about NIE and how many students you have. Then click the Create Order button. Your order is NOT complete until you change the pre-set delivery quantities to reflect the number of copies you would like to receive. This may be equal to or less than the number of students you have.
