NIE is only available for classroom settings that are accredited by the state or federal government. Furthermore, students participating must be receiving credits or working towards degree or certification. This includes Grades K-12 classrooms, G.E.D. programs and College/University Classrooms. Home Schools that are part of an accredited association may also receive NIE deliveries, but only if deliveries are made to a public or non-public school or business location. We cannot deliver NIE to personal residences. Students may NOT register for NIE. Exceptions to this are student teachers in an accredited university/college education program working towards an education degree/certificate. Student teachers must be assigned to a classroom setting.
If you have requested classroom delivery of either the Detroit Free Press or The Detroit News during the 2006-2007 school year, and supplied your email address when you ordered, you already have an active account and should sign in as a REGISTERED USER. If you do not know your password or forgot your password, click on Forgot Your password and your password will be emailed to you. If you have not requested delivery since the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year, please use the CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT option.
